Hesperia Barcelona Del Mar

The location is great, anext to the nice beach, metro is 7 min walk. The area has many cafes and restaurants. The hotel is clean, the room is big and bed is comfortable. Also it was good to have minibar in the room. We liked everything.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The hotel employees are very helpful and professional. The location is also good. It is accessible from the city centre. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Having the sea nearby was very joyful. The room was spacious and clean. When I arrived, a receptionist updated my room to a garden view, which was very lovely. The room had a kettle and a variety of tea, hair drier, mini bar, bath robe and slippers. A bottle of water that was provided from time to time. I bought breakfast and it was a good idea. There was a good variety of food, everything was tasty and fresh. Luis in the restaurant was very helpful in guiding me around the dishes and made a delicious cappuccino. Wi-fi in the hotel was good enough for my work and online meetings.

Location was good for me because I wanted a room overlooking the Mediterranean and not necessarily in the heart of "downtown." It took a short 10-15 minute ride on the bus or the metro to reach most major attractions. I liked the late afternoon strolls on the beautiful boardwalk. Staff were great and friendly. The neighborhood is nice and really safe. Great local food a plenty in the nearby Rambla del Poblenou (forget about the other "famous" Ramblas de Barcelona, where food is poor, prices are inflated, and pickpockets roam the streets).

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless, room and bed super comfortable. Only thing that was off putting was a loud noise which I couldn’t place where it was coming from, I think either the lift or the air ventilation. I had AirPods so this helped drown out the noise and allowed me to sleep comfortably. The hotel is just at the edge of the city. If you don’t mind walking, which we didn’t, it takes about an hour to walk into the city. We had a lovely stay at the hotel and would recommend it.

the location of hotel is very close to the beach and also has very good bus connections (bus H16) to plaza espanya/ plaza catalunya, bus stop 2mins from hotel by walking. metro station Poblenou is 10min by walking. in the complete hotel is very good/fast wifi connection. friendly and supported staff.
